How much does a Drainage Survey cost?

Each site is quoted on its own merit and price will depend upon size of the site, density of covers and serviceability of the drainage system.

What's involved?

During drainage connectivity underground surveying, manhole covers are lifted using an array of suitable lifting equipment whilst giving thought to the safety of others. A transmitter (‘sonde’) is then introduced into the pipe and the received signal is positioned at ground level using a receiver. Pipe locations are then recorded using GPS/total station.

What you get...

A Drainage Connectivity/layout plan (detailing the size & route of pipes & flow direction) with manhole cover and invert levels. Results can be incorporated into an existing topographical dataset when received in CAD. This can either be client supplied or we can produce as part of the specified works. Alternatively we can overlay drainage survey results onto OS background data.
