LASER SURVEYS MILLENNIUM MISSION
To provide the Most Competitive Pre-Contract Service in the UK

The year 2000 not only welcomes the Millennium, but also Laser Surveys' 25th Birthday. Right from the start Mark Walker (Managing Director Laser Surveys) decided a new approach to Land Survey was necessary, particularly with regard to survey technology which was developing fast.

The days of the "Professional Surveyor" was over and the "Land Survey Contractor" had arrived, and as a contractor Laser Surveys Limited had to provide a quality product and prompt delivery at a competitive price. In order to achieve and maintain these aims Laser Surveys have always invested in the best survey equipment, computer hardware, software communications and last, but by no means least, top quality staff.

Laser Surveys' 14 survey teams, equipped with "state of the art" robotic totalstations and based either at their Worcester or Essex Office operate throughout the UK. The Company's size and geo-graphical location has enabled Laser Surveys to successfully undertake and complete on time some of the largest UK survey contracts in 1999. These have included detailed surveys of 50 National Grid Sites and up to 100 major retail sites.

Pre-contract survey services can be broken down to topographical / building surveys, services surveys, CCTV drainage surveys and ground condition surveys (ground radar). Historically consultants have had to approach different specialists in these fields, and collate the information received from these various sources. Owing to client demand Laser Surveys have now established an "in-house" underground services division which allows the complete integration of all pre-contract survey information. Services and ground radar information is incorporated onto survey plans cross referenced to CCTV colour video and "stills" of drainage problems. CCTV drainage surveys have in the past been carried out by drain cleaning companies. Laser Surveys with their experience in data collection, analysis and presentation of information have added a new dimension to this service thus reducing the necessary input from succeeding consultants.

With the combination of all these pre-contract services into one package Laser Surveys is able to provide an "all-in" competitive fixed price quotation for work anywhere in Europe, and Mark Walker is pleased to discuss the developers particular requirements with regard to the services that Laser Surveys provide. They are just a phone call away on 01886 833173.
