How To Install Desktop Mapping

• Register: Register yourself here for Desktop Mapping here and we will contact you with your passwords and ftp address.
• Install Java: We currently recommend Java 2 Platform Standard Edition 5.0 found here, please click on the link about halfway down the page titled 'Download JRE 5.0 Update 3'. Accept the terms and conditions in order to progress to the download page, once at the download page choose your operating system and click to download. Should you encounter problems with the 5.0 Edition then we suggest trying the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition, v 1.4.2 (J2SE) found here, please click on the link about halfway down the page titled 'Download J2SE JRE'.

• Install Firefox: This stage is not actually necessary should you prefer to use Microsoft Internet Explorer, but we do recommend using Mozilla Firefox for the best viewing experience. The latest version of Firefox can be found here, please click on the 'Free Download' link at the top.

• Add DTM Link: Now simply go to the Desktop Mapping Login page (www.centremaps.com/dtm.htm) and add it as a bookmark in your browser.
